Abstract/Description
Reports the productivity levels achieved by grade Boran cattle maintained by chemoprophylaxis at Mkwaja ranch (Tanzania) from 1973 to 1982. Analyses the effects of year and season of calving on birth, cow age, calf sex and area & location of herd on performance of the environmental influences. Evaluates the amount and timing of trypanocidal drug treatments required and their interactions with environmental influences.
