Notes
This handbook has been prepared to support field workers and farmers to develop appropriate soil and moisture conservation systems. Vegetative systems have proved cheaper and more effective in India than conventional earth bunding techniques, and experiments are being carried out on fields in India to test the system's extensive possibilities. It is a slim pocket-sized book with clear line drawings and diagrams.
