It reviews the priorities and accomplishments of IRRI's research programs, listed as genetic evaluation and utilization, disease and pest control and management, cropping systems, environment and its influence, soil fertility, water control and use, machinery development, post-harvest management, constraints to increased production, consequences of new technology, and research concepts and organization. It also reviews training, cooperative relationships, personnel policy, general services and facilities. The panel made a total of 91 recommendations. The report was discussed in draft at TAC Eleventh Meeting in October 1975, and the final version endorsed by TAC's Twelfth Meeting in February 1976. The CGIAR considered it in October 1976.
